The capital of Koh Samui has preserved its charm as a harbour town and is scattered with all kinds of shops, markets, banks and restaurants. Nathon is the major harbour for the ferries from the mainland, the boats to Koh Pha Ngan, Koh Tao and the Angthong National Marine Park and is the main hub for goods from the mainland.
