South Pattaya is home to the infamous Walking Street nightlife, for the more subdued there are a plethora of restaurants, shopping malls, local markets and more family-friendly activities. The Big Buddha atop the hill at Wat Pra Yai is very impressive, with beautiful views along the coast. Boats leave Bali Hai pier for local island trips.
