Naklua, meaning 'salt fields', in reference to the salt farming industry, which was the predominant occupation before the rise of tourism. This is the northern most area of Pattaya, home to high end resorts with top class spas and restaurants. Here, there is the unusual gigantic wooden construction, known as the Sanctuary of Truth, decorated with wooden carved sculptures, reflecting an Ancient Vision of Earth, Ancient Knowledge and Eastern Philosophy.
