The Silom/Sathorn area is south of Rama IV Road and east of the 2nd Expressway. There are 3 BTS stations and Silom MRT station, Silom Galleria and Silom Complex Shopping Plaza are amongst some 15 shopping malls. A number of schools, universities, churches and temples are some of the notable buildings. Several embassies are in this region, hospitals, an immigration bureau and Suan Chaloem Prakiat 80th Park.
