Rama III Road begins at the intersection with Rama IV Road near Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre and heads south, following the Chao Praya River until it crosses over at Bang Kho Laem. Covering a large residential area, slightly outside of the city centre, it is less commercial here yet a number of shopping malls, hyper markets and leisure facilities tend to every need.
