Chalong and nearby Rawai are not tourists areas, many expats have made their homes here - holiday and full time. The

area is very well served by a wide variety of good eateries, to suit all budgets from road side Isaarn BBQ to five star beachfront dining. There are also pubs, wine stores, bakeries and a high quality supermarket that supply we locals with all our Western comforts. Generally speaking spa treatments, hairdressers etc are also great value here, away from the tourist traps.
