Rival Real Estate Firms go head to head in the Full Metal Dojo

Kingdom Co. Ltd, which runs Full Metal Dojo (FMD), Asia’s favourite MMA promotion, has announced an innovative new sponsorship deal that pits two rival real estate firms up against one other in the world of Mixed Martial Arts.

Competing realtors Siam Real Estate and BKK BestLife Real Estate will compete on Full Metal Dojo’s Facebook page in a series of posts where online fans will vote on the most ‘baller’ property in various Bangkok hotspots, as represented by the two agencies. The winners will receive points for each round won, as the online battle intensifies.

Kingdom Co. Ltd will also make their own selfie videos at both agencies’ properties, hosted by larger than life FMD President and Fox Sports Asia pundit, Jon Nutt.

This innovative approach to real estate PR is sure to attract interest from FMD’s core live audience of high-earning locals and expats in the Thai capital, which has a booming condominium market.

Bangkok last year reestablished itself as the most visited city in the world, and an affordable hub for expats and property investors alike. Over 16,000 condominium units were launched in Bangkok in Q4 of 2016, the highest in 3 years.

The deal will also expand the two firms’ market reach through FMD’s huge international following, with more than 150,000 fans tuning in to their last event via Facebook live. Kingdom Co. Ltd has long pushed international tourism in its home of Thailand, promoting the nation as a both as a top holiday destination and the world’s best place to train in martial arts on a cost-per-value basis.

Siam Real Estate’s Patrick Lusted stated, “We at Siam Real Estate have been very impressed with the professionalism and enthusiasm that FMD have brought to their industry and promoting Thailand and all local businesses as a whole. We are delighted to be able to be given the opportunity to team up and look forward to facing off against the spirited BKK BestLife.”

BKK BestLife Real Estate founder Blake Sibbit said of the deal, “I've been a huge fan of FMD since their inception and the work they've put in to promote Bangkok and Thailand to the world. We're extremely honoured to join the ranks alongside their other amazing sponsors. Siam Real Estate has been a leading name in Thailand for over a decade. We hope they prove to be a worthy opponent.”

Full Metal Dojo has carved a name for itself in the MMA world, with its innovative branding, its Fightclub-esque MMA events in Bangkok nightclubs, constant video and graphic content creation and original approach to PR and sponsorship.

Kingdom Co. Ltd pioneered the concept of rival brands sponsoring the Red and Blue Corners last year with two of Bangkok’s leading hotel chains, Movenpick Hotels & Resorts and Four Points by Sheraton. The deal was shortlisted for ‘Best Sponsorship of a Sport, Team or Event of the Year in Thailand’ at the SPIA Asia 2016 Sports Industry Awards.

Full Metal Dojo’s previous event also saw Red and Blue Corner sponsorship from competing MMA apparel firms, Amnig and Kongwear. The concept goes against the usual sponsorship code of exclusivity, but goes straight to the very ethos of respectful sporting competition, mirroring the respect always shown by Mixed Martial Artists at the end of their bouts.

Full Metal Dojo (FMD) is Thailand’s top MMA Promotion, featuring the best up-and-coming Thai and international MMA fighters in the region.
