Special AMCHAM Tourism Event This Friday (12th September)

A special tourism forum on the future perception of the island Phuket has evolved into a mainstream, mass-market destination; the island's beaches have undergone extreme makeovers; and more dramatic changes are on the horizon.

Join David Keen, CEO of QUO, as he leads a discussion on visionary destination branding and the latest developments on Phuket with Khun Wichit Na-Ranong (Owner and Managing Director of Indigo Pearl), Anthony Lark (VP Business Development of Montara Hospitality Group) and Daniel Meury (General Manager of Andara Resort and Villas). Scott Gorsuch (Leisure Design Group)will be presenting a short Phuket before and after segment as well.

At this special event organised by the Greater Phuket Chapter American Chamber of Commerce, the esteemed panel of industry leaders will discuss the crossroads at which Brand Phuket now finds itself. Come high season, how will visitors perceive a new beach experience? How are locals reacting to the "New Phuket"? Is the Pearl of the Andaman Sea losing its adventurous lustre, or is it on the brink of an illustrious new chapter? The forum is a must for those in the hotel, tourism, real estate and yachting sectors.

Come to hear the discussion and to share your views starting at 4pm on 12th September at the Angsana Laguna Phuket ballroom. Everyone is welcome to attend, and admission for non-AMCHAM members is just THB 100.

Networking drinks will follow after the discussion ends at 6pm. To sign up for the forum, visit www.amchamthailand.com, or contact Sheree Tanpensuk at [email protected] or 02-254-1041 ext. 212. - See more at: http://www.thephuketinsider.com/hotels/special-amcham-tourism-event-this-friday.php#sthash.Dt1rl2mt.dpuf
